This challenging and exciting position includes logic and Microarchitecture work to define and implement cutting edge building blocks in the consumer electronics area. Technology areas include Audio and Video decoding, Graphics and Video subsystems, Security, CPU and memory/DDR subsystems. In this position, you will be working with the system architecture and validation teams to translate requirements into hardware units. You will be involved in Power optimization activities as well as analysis of SoC Performance. You will be developing Microarchitecture specifications, then mapping this into RTL using verilog and synthesizing it to FPGA for prototyping. Full chip integration, achieving timing closure, and performing FPGA and Post-Silicon(ASIC) debug are part of the job duties. Interaction with other teams will be a key skill in this position. You will be creating logic from scratch as well as modifying and extending logic being reused from other projects.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
You must possess a minimum of a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Minimum Requirements:
BS + 4 Years or MS +2 Years
Fluent in Verilog, C and/or C++, and UNIX
Strong background in RTL coding, logic design including synthesis, timing closure, APR support and validation
Scripting knowledge and Design Automation experience
Preferred Requirements:
System C, System Verilog knowledge would be an added advantage
