The Senior Clinical Therapist provides evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and psychotherapy for adolescent, adult and/or geriatric inpatients or outpatients. Performs alone and with multidisciplinary team in various psychotherapy groups including activities (educational and recreational) as well as community milieu treatment groups or programs. This requires maintaining documentation as required by hospital policy and Joint Commission, state and federal standards.
Requirements: Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or other related Human Services field with applicable licensure. Demonstrated experience and knowledge working with psychiatric conditions and clinical manifestations affecting patient population to include treatment planning and implementation. Experience working with individual, group and family theory and dynamics.
