The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing several client facing service units at International Capital and Management Company. The COO will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for these units. The COO will work closely with the President & CEO in providing leadership in the strategic planning process for the company, and will lead the implementation of company-wide strategic initiatives. The COO will manage the service units under his/her control to meet required levels of service quality and to provide the value that our clients demand. This position will be a key liaison to our clients and will manage and nurture relationships with our clients.

The successful candidate should have experience in managing across diverse functions or service lines, and should be very comfortable in managing an environment of high growth and rapid change. Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Responsible for all activities when President & CEO is absent; Directs internal operations to achieve organizational metrics and drive “value” to our clients; Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes; Challenge, motivate and empower leaders, managers and staff; Motivate and lead a high performance management team; Encourage collaboration between units in the service group; Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company; Establish operational processes/ process improvement; Ensure quality control of services delivered to clients; Set operational and/or performance goals for each service unit which are aggressive, achievable, and tied to long term goals; Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends.

Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or related field. MBA is highly desired; Minimum of 10 years’ of progressive career growth in a corporate setting; Experience with implementing quality measures and developing operating metrics; Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to coach senior management & staff to develop high-performance teams; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and enthusiastic communicator; A track record of success providing leadership implementing structures/systems to enable organization growth; Solid work history of budgeting, business development, and strategic planning; Must have successful prior record of managing and aiding the growth of an organization; Ability to build teams and generate respect/trust from staff and external constituencies; Ability to travel.
