This position is in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and is advertised as a 1 - 4. Only one vacancy exists and the level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. The maximum salary for the highest level of this position, Wildlife and Fisheries Technician 4, is $23.35 per hour / $48,568.00 per year. Responsibilities and/or Preferences: The incumbent of this position participates in various aquatic plant control projects. Inculdes in applying EPA approved heribcides and working with biological controls. Also the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in monitoring the level of aquatic plant abundance in Northwest Louisiana Exam Required: No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
