As the demand for quality home healthcare increases, so does the need for excellent Information Technology staff. Alacare Home Health & Hospice is looking for an exceptional Systems Administrator who is ready to take on the technical challenges of a 23 location 1000 user server environment.

Duties for this position include:

Responsible for planning, purchasing, scheduling, and execution of deployments of all desktop/server/laptop/thin client/PDA/Android installations, c
onfigurations, upgrades and projects.

Responsible for planning, installation, upgrading, and support of infrastructure server platforms
o Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
o Citrix XenApp6
o Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
o Microsoft SQL Server 2003/2005/2008
o Symantec Enterprise Vault for Exchange
o Symantec Mail Security
o UltiPro HR/Payroll
o Debian / Fedora and Linux thin clients and servers.

Responsible for planning, installation, upgrading, and support of end user applications
o Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
o Microsoft Office 2007/2010
o Symantec End-Point Protection
o Accounting/Finance Packages - MAS200, FRX, FAS, & BizNet

Responsible for supporting for all desktop/server/laptop/thin client/PDA/Android software, operating system, networking issues, remote access and handheld issues by monitoring help desk tickets.

Responsible or maintain Active Directory, File and Print sharing, Security and Spyware protection services, Virus protection, Firewall configuration, & Backup and Recovery services

Daily interaction with employees at various levels within the organization

Perform system maintenance on both hardware and software; evaluate, test and integrate upgrades.

Document all work performed on current and new systems by describing all relevant factors.

Responding to off hours calls within IT guidelines

Assist Network Administrator in support of switch, router, wireless, and telephony hardware and software

Escalate appropriately through support chain

Providing reports to Director of Information Technology

Participate in meetings with users and vendors to discuss options or gives status reports related to meeting required deadlines

5+ years supporting and administering virtual platforms & architectures; including VMWare ESX/ESXi 4.0/5.0, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V

5+ years supporting and administering Exchange 2003/2007/2010 environment, along with mailbox policy implements and email archiving best-practices

5+ years of administration experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 including:

Active Directory domain structures, administering users, objects, groups, roles, and permissions.

Managing IIS services (web, SMTP, message queue)

Security best practices based on server requirements (UAC, Firewall, System Hardening)

5+ Year demonstrated knowledge in large scale deployments of servers, personal computers, laptops, or thin-clients, PDA or Android devices. Using standard cloning technologies like SYSPREP and Ghost.

5+ Year demonstrated knowledge of common backup and restore procedures (Backup Exec, VMWare Snapshots) in a multisite environment

3+ years in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex projects

3+ Years supporting and administering a Citrix XenApp environment.

3+ years demonstrated knowledge of storage architecture platforms

3+ years demonstrated knowledge of Antivirus applications, preferably Symantec technologies

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a high paced environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Organizational and time management skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task in fast paced high pressure environment

Proven ability to take a given task and work independently and/or as part of a team to bring the task to completion

Excellent ability to troubleshoot methodologies and solve issues to meeting deadlines

Confidently introduce ideas and participate in detailed technological discussions

A+, MCSA, MCITP or higher or equivalent experience required
