The Role:
We’re currently looking for a Sr. Systems Administrator
to join Live Nation’s IT Infrastructure team which is
responsible for the administration of our global, 24x7

  • Server installation, configuration, and
  • Package and user management
  • Print server administration
  • Storage system administration
  • 24x7 on-call duties
  • Travel to hosting sites for system builds and
maintenance as needed

  • 5+ years of Linux/Unix server administration
  • Working knowledge of Redhat/CentOS, including
kickstart and package management tools (rpm/yum)
  • Experience with database server administration such
as Oracle or MySQL
  • Storage administration experience and a strong
understanding of NFS, RAID, LVM, and Samba
  • An understanding of virtualization technologies such
as VMware or Xen
  • Experience with system monitoring tools such as
MRTG, Nimbus, Groundwork, and SNMP
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, fault tolerance, disaster
recovery, and lights out management
  • Experience with and knowledge of common server
software such as Apache, Bind, Postfix, and SSH
  • Familiarity with Load Balancers (Netscaler,
ServerIron), and clustering (Oracle RAC/OCFS)
