Job Summary:
We are looking for new college graduates to help us build our portfolio of web-based software solutions. Our R&D team delivers business applications, development platforms, and collaboration tools over the internet to businesses across all industries. Customers around the globe entrust us with their most critical business data; we need the best and brightest engineers to continually expand and improve our service.
Multiple positions available
As a software engineer, y ou will have a significant impact in one of the following areas:
Core Infrastructure – search, relevancy, analytics, data storage technologies, caching mechanisms, job queuing, general scalability and reliability problems
Platform Technologies – metadata-based customization, app development tools, application containers, APIs (REST, SOAP, Metadata), UI frameworks, language runtimes, authentication and security
Business Applications – domain-specific productivity applications for professionals in: sales, customer service/call centers, marketing
Collaboration – features and platforms for collaboration within companies, as well as integration with social media sites
Engineering Productivity – build mission-critical, highly customized internal tools to make us the most productive engineering team in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Code primarily in Java for backend development and in HTML/CSS/Javascript if you are front-end development
Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements
Resolve technical issues in existing applications
Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites
Close collaboration with product owners, other developers and management to design and develop highly useful, high quality software.
Required Skills:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Academic, professional or internship experience with Java
Understanding of object-oriented programming/design
Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Desired Skills:
Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts
Experience developing large software systems
Expertise with Java Servlets and Java Server Pages
