Admissions Advisor - Job Description
New online College for Hispanics is searching for an admission advisor to inspire prospective students to enroll in undergraduate programs designed to help them launch, enhance, or change careers in a diverse, global market.
The Admission advisor will work directly with prospects via phone, email and chat. You'll use a consultative, persuasive approach via a high degree of outbound calls from our fast-paced On-Line Student Support Center. You'll determine student eligibility, make program recommendations, and guide applicants through the admission process.
- Skilled in: verbal and e-mail communication; listening actively and attentively; lead generation; lead qualification; funnel development and management; opening conversations; building relationships with prospects; closing deals; consultative persuasion; presenting information.
- Ability to: achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives; learn higher education products and industry; handle disappointment and rejection; adjust approach to the situation; maintain a high energy level; reach agreement through successful negotiation; resolve problems; think analytically; make a high volume of outbound phone calls; work independently; build relationships and partner with key business units.
- Technology oriented and capable to fast learning of new processes and procedures.
Minimum Job Requirements: 1 year experience as Admission Advisor or similar role for an online university. AS degree in Business or related area.
BILINGUAL (SPANISH / ENGLISH) FLUENT IN SPANISH
