The Inspector/Packer is responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. This position will also operate packaging equipment. The Inspector/Packer will also be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices. This is an entry-level manufacturing position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
Ensure proper packing and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
Inspect finished products to ensure it conforms to customer requirements.
Discard defective bottles and report poor quality issues to management.
Monitor operation of conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from lines.
May operate bottle decoration equipment.
Assemble boxes and cartons and hand-pack materials.
Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mathematical skills are required.
Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
Previous third shift (overnight) experience a plus.
