PositionPurpose

The Human ResourcesCoordinator II is responsible for delivery of a comprehensiverecruitment and search process, as well as coordinating other Human Resourcesdepartment activities .

PrincipalResponsibilities

Screens incoming resumes and forwards qualified candidates to hiring manager for review
Reviews and updates job descriptions in collaboration with Human Resources Director and managers.
Perform searches for qualified passive' candidates according to relevant job criteria, using external databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources and cold calls
M aintains suspects' spreadsheet
Initiates contact with passive candidates to determine interest in current position vacancies
Conducts candidate phone screens
Coordinates interview panel selection with hiring manager
Schedules candidate interviews to include coordination of both Foundation and University faculty and staff.
Makes travel arrangements for candidates (hotel, airfare, and rental car)
Prepares candidate correspondence and interview packets
Conducts reference and background checks
Develops and maintains professional relationships with FSU Deans, faculty and staff
Maintains and distributes weekly recruiting progress updates to senior leadership
Explores new recruitment channels and provides recommendations to HR Director
Compiles statistical reports and analysis of recruiting activities and employee data
Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.
Collaborates with hiring managers to select new employee orientation sponsors
Meets with orientation sponsors to review program procedures and responsibilities
Works with Human Resources Director and Benefits Manager on various research projects and/or special projects
Maintains confidential employee records
Serves as back-up to front desk supervisor for front desk coverage scheduling
Serves as back-up to Human Resources Coordinator I for various duties, as needed
Protects confidential information
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education& Experience

Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience (recruiting experience highly preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
