Under direction of Maintenance Supervisor or Sr. Maintenance Tech, repair problems affecting the operation of production equipment. Obtain needed parts or materials to complete repairs in the shortest time possible. Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems with assistance from qualified Maintenance personnel using the appropriate test equipment. Respond to written Work Requests as directed. Observe all safety procedures and policies. Maintain accurate documentation of all work preformed. Must cooperate and work well with co-workers.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications
Must have strong understanding of work with basic electrical, mechanical and hydraulic malfunctions of machine tools knowledge and safety precautions to be used. Knowledge of machine tool operation, fundamentals of electricity and mechanical mechanisms. Ability to reason analytically in order to find and repair problem causes.

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and formal training in electrical equipment repair. Practical experience in repair of mechanical equipment, preferably in the area of machine tools. Requires two to three years of experience.
