Job MissionThis position contributes to the companys success by tending a machine that packs and seals cases of product, and hand palletizes cartons for shipping. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions· Readies robotic packer for work, and assists Maintenance in troubleshooting issues.· Readies taping machine for work, filling it with blank shipping cases and tape as necessary. · Observes and monitors process to ensure shipping cartons are filled and sealed according to customer specifications, and inkjet information is adhered appropriately.· Removes defective cartons. · Troubleshoots and adjusts case packer and inkjet machine as necessary, coordinating with mechanics and production supervision regarding status of machinery.· Removes defective product from line, setting it aside for quality control inspection.· Communicates with material handlers regarding the removal of finished goods from production. Qualifications· High School Diploma or GED required· Experience running and troubleshooting robotics and case packing machinery preferred· Experience in a food manufacturing facility a plus· Able to read, write and speak English.· Proficient in basic addition and subtraction· Understands temperature and weight measures
