The Learning Consultant supports Learning Campus by consulting with business managers and HR professionals in the US and Canada to analyze training needs and propose the appropriate learning solution. By applying her/his knowledge of learning, development and OD, the Learning Consultant determines the actual need and recommends the appropriate intervention or referral.
The Learning Consultant is the face of Learning Campus to the business and must be knowledgeable about the Learning Campus portfolio and how to apply solutions appropriately as well as be an effective consultant.
Provides valuable input into the Learning Campus/Sector needs analysis process by identifying and communicating learning-needs patterns, trends and gaps.
Manages business learning programs to ensure content quality and relevance for the Siemens US audience and recommends additions to the portfolio
Scope of the role: US
Level of contacts: local, internal, external, global
Analyzing learning needs and recommending appropriate solutions
Consult with HRBC(s) and managers in this process
Communicate trends and gaps in the needs analysis process
Direct Training Coordinators in the coordination of training programs
Work with external vendors and internal resources to coordinate the delivery of training programs
Contribute to measurement, as required
Training and development knowledge required
HR Business Consultant experience preferred
Education- BS/BA in related discipline, advanced degree desired
Consulting/customer service skills required
Technology – Microsoft products; Learning Management System

Years of experience: Mid (5-8 years operative, 3-5 years in the needs analysis, development and delivery of training)
Open to any major Siemens location
