- Manage automated data processing equipment (ADPE) inventory in accordance with ADPE management instructions and policies through use of an information processing management system and a personal computer-information processing management system (or equivalent system) under the direction of the base equipment control officer.
- Annually perform inspections and inventories on a percentage of randomly selected base equipment control accounts to ensure equipment is marked as required and ensure a accuracy of the a management system inventory database.
- Develop, recommend or revise existing procedures relative to local information technology equipment management and procurement.
- Provide advice on standard contracts and other ADPE contracts as applicable. Able to research, find and recommend sources for equipment and software.
- Prepare and coordinate purchase requests for basic information technology equipment and software. Receive shipments from vendors and issues shipments to customers.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least o ne year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in federal service which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the position being filled. Specialized experience is experience which may have been gained while performing clerical or technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing supply activities; and knowledge of supply operations and program requirements and the ability to apply established supply policies, day-to-day servicing techniques, regulations, or procedures.
