Sr. Software Validation Engineer Grey Box
We are in search of Sr. Quality Engineer with 5-8 years of experience working in the mobility domain with Android or Windows platform. The candidate will be responsible for defining test strategy, test methodology as well as leading, testing and managing the test execution and results on Intel products.
He/she should be experienced in implementation of test strategy and tools for validating various interfaces across different HW and SW platforms. Responsibilities will also include analyzing HW/SW quality, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure that the product quality issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ideal candidate be able to work independently and come up with solutions on their own.
Knowledge and Skills:
-Design test scenarios, test cases and test plans
-Lead and execute Test Validation across different platforms HW/SW
-Ability to understand and triage bug logs
-Ability to work closely with developers and cross functional teams across different time zones
-Strong knowledge of Test Management tools and Bug Management tools
-Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile domain working on Android or Windows platforms
-Must have experience and knowledge about all aspects of testing- Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing, Penetration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
-Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented and a strong team player
-Must have strong written and communication skill
-Must have lead or managed a team of other software quality assurance and test engineers
-Must have worked with internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable and cost-effective testing and quality assurance solutions
-Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience
