In accordance with the mission of the Mount Carmel Health System, t o serve meals to patients, hospital staff/associates and/or visitors and perform cleaning/sanitation duties as assigned.

High school education preferred. Basic reading and writing skills preferred. Previous experience in a foodservice operation preferred. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instruction. Ability to complete assignments under direct periodic supervision. Ability to lift and carry medium to heavy weight equipment, pans, trash, etc. and handle hot dishes and utensils. Must be compatible with others and work well in a service situation with many different people. Must have the ability to learn correct usage of chemicals, supplies, tools and equipment. Must have a neat and clean appearance. Must have the ability to work variety of shifts/variable schedule.
