POSITION SUMMARY: The EVP, Digital Services is a major point of contact and ultimate point of accountability for all of FDL ’s digital clients. The EVP, Digital Services will work closely with clients to identify their specific needs and business objectives then identify strategy and implement digital marketing plans that drive revenue and achieve client business goals. The EVP, Digital Services includes P"L responsibility from an individual and team management level.
In addition, the EVP, Digital Services provides cross-functional senior level leadership/guidance, partnership with the ECD, VPs and Account Directors / Creative Directors. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading and creating actionable digital eco system plans for our digital clients and new business opportunities. Comprehensive plans rooted in sound strategic ideas that will drive our business and our client ’s businesses forward. Responsible for all digital innovation at the agency.
Ensure innovation is first and foremost, but that it also makes sense for each client or project. Is a digital visionary for FDL. Building pro-active plans to ensure our service offerings continue to evolve and meet the demands of the ever-changing digital landscape. Navigates, serves and integrates within the agency (AS, CS, IPS, Operations, etc.) and externally (clients, vendors.
etc.) Provides technical excellence at both a practical and strategic level, dealing with macro and micro issues with equal enthusiasm and vigor. Leads the entire Interactive Services team, provides mentorship, development, and performance management. Has a fundamental role in ensuring our historical commitment to delivering every project on time, in-budget and maintaining Factory ’s gross margin targets and profitability. Provides pro-active value when discussing digital media in relation to the client ’s business needs.
Provides long-term strategic guidance for digital media and the broader marketing ecosystem. Assumes an approach of taking ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the digital servicing of the client. Assumes an absolute commitment and pride in delivering service and craft excellence. 4 years experience in a development role preferred, not required. Degree in computer science, business management or related field. MBA preferred. Category experience highly desirable (performance sports, luxury and lifestyle brands).
New business development expertise. Unbelievable strategic problem solving skills. Ultimate understanding of web technology. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience working directly with clients to determine strategic business needs – must be business minded and adaptable and able to move in a quickly changing digital world – the ability to stay ahead of new trends and integrate those technologies to increase business. Extreme attention to detail. Understanding of application and infrastructure architecture. The ability to multi-task between executive responsibilities, management responsibilities and client responsibilities is paramount.
Proven ability to influence a team in a matrix environment. Proven ability to create a seamless communication environment between Finance, Account Services, Creative Services and Interactive Services. Proven ability to work within a creative centric environment and produce measurable results for the company. Ability to travel up to 30% Ability to work outside regular business hours as workload requires.
