ASSEMBLY MANAGER: Check with supervisor for absenteeism control. Maintain employee's Time and Attendance as outlined by the HR Department. Establish work hour requirements for completion of job assisgnments. Overtime hours must be approved by the Department Manager. Supervise and coordinate all activities of assembly technicians and Leads. Is the main communication link between management and the technicians. Lead by example in attendance, quality, attitude and accountability; must demonstrate ability and willingness to perform a variety of duties, often changing priorities without loss of efficiency and composure. Responsible for training of technicians. Communicate effectively with support personnel about work-related problems and business need Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, vendors and suppliers, as well as customers. Uses the practices of fair and consistent treatment to all subordinates in all situations. Must be able to work overtime as required. Other duties as may be required as assigned by management Must be an example in attendance, quality, attitude and accountability; must demonstrate ability and willingness to perform a wide variety of duties, often changing priorities without loss of efficiency or composure. ASSEMBLY LEAD:1. Check with supervisor for absenteeism control.2. Cover for absenteeism and other time away from production3. Training of technicians - both new hire and temp as well as on-line observing and follow-up.4. Perform functions or other jobs assigned by supervisor.5. Practice fair and consistent treatment toward all subordinates in all situations.6. Lead by example in attendance, quality, attitude and accountability..7. Support daily minor maintenance work (locator pins, weld cables, air and water leaks)8. Support company goals and objectives, and support management decisions9. Other assignments as deemed necessary by management. Must be an example in attendance, quality, attitude and accountability; must demonstrate ability and willingness to perform a wide variety of duties, often changing priorities without loss of efficiency or composure.
ASSEMBLY MANAGER: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required with minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience. Minimum of 6 months robot experience preferred but not required. Minimum of 6 months MIG welding experience preferred but not required. Basic math skills Basic MIG welding skills, Use of basic hand tools, Basic electrical skills Ability to lift 25 lbs without mechanical assistance Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time Ability to work any shift Must demonstrate ability to proficiently perform tip maintenance, change weld cables and check sensors (Preferred but not required) Must have ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with peers, management and support functions. Must have satisfactory attendance and safety record. Must successfully complete New Manager Training.
