McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is an acute-care, 113-bed hospital located in Springfield, Ore., serving the Lane County area. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Da Vinci Technology Surgery, CT Scan, MRI, Maternity, Reproductive Services, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation and a 24-Hour Emergency Department that is a designated Level III Trauma Center. McKenzie-Willamette is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC).
Accepts responsibility, accountability and authority as a unit manager on a 24 hour basis.
Utilizes knowledge, methods and techniques pertinent to directing, guiding and assisting nursing management and staff members in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Current Oregon RN license.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated leadership qualities:
good communication skills, ability to inspire confidence in others, ability to plan, implement and evaluate change, commitment to promoting growth of others.
Acute Care nurse management experience required. 3-5 years acute care nursing experience required in Med/Surg.
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred or in progress.
