As an Airframe Mechanic at Duncan Aviation you will have an opportunity to apply your education and experience in a state of the art facility with the latest in technology the industry has to offer. The amount of your experience will determine at which level you will be hired. In this role you will work with limited supervision while performing the following responsibilities:
Assist in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes, using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with no rework. Accurately order general and aircraft parts, as needed.
Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
Prepare various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations, i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.
Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks, and closing of work orders.
Consistently locate and use appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Mechanic I - Two years aircraft maintenance experience or FAA Airframe Maintenance Certificate required. FAA Powerplant Certificate preferred.
Mechanic II - Two years aircraft maintenance related experience required. FAA Airframe Certificate required. Occasional overnight and short notice travel required. FAA Powerplant Certificate preferred.
Mechanic III - Five years aircraft maintenance experience required. FAA Airframe Certificate required. Occasional overnight and short notice travel required. Eligibility as a Qualified Inspector required. FAA Powerplant Certificate preferred.
