This position supports the direction, supervision & coordination of the activities necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Enterprise Application Services team. The position provides highly specialized technical support for BC's College Integrated Database (CID) and the members of the ERP team. Provides research, planning and recommendations for improving processes and resolving problems. Conceives, designs, develops and tests complex computer systems and programs for requestor approval. Manages ERP Analysts and provides project management. .
Associate's Degree required in information systems or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Four to six years experience in developing complex ERP systems.
Project Management desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge: Languages: Adabas Natural, Construct, SQL, XML, Preferred: Java and/or C#. Other: OPX, SSH, FTP, JCL, Linux environment, Windows, Microsoft Office, MS Project. Requires a basic knowledge of internet technologies and requires extensive knowledge of file designs. Skills: Possesses advanced analysis, critical thinking, risk analysis and trouble shooting skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; planning, organizational and decision-making skills; business process analysis skills; Strong Project Management skills Abilities: Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities in a highly challenging environment. Ability to manage own work and work of others, ability to set priorities for self and others, schedule work activities, allocate resources and provide appropriate feedback.
