The Product Manager is responsible for the ongoing management, enhancement, development, or sunsetting of new, existing or acquisition products within the Portal Product Management team. He/she will review product performance against expectations, as well as facilitate and influence change in the Portal Product portfolio to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and optimize product performance. The Product Manager will also be expected to work with internal or external business constituents to determine the future direction of the product and respond to product inquiries. This includes leading or participating in projects with key stakeholders including: sales, account management, reporting, finance, operations and other functional areas that support the eHP portal product and the delivery of its service.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Â· General product management - identify and address gaps and opportunities within assigned product(s)
Â· Understand the financials of the business and the products to ensure the economics of proposed new or enhanced services are reasonable and profitable
Â· Apply knowledge of current solution standards to create consistency in complex solution design processes
Â· Participate in meetings as needed to serve as a subject matter expert on products, process and/or services within the scope of responsibilities
Â· Recognize repeated market needs that current products and capabilities do not meet, and make recommendations to the business on how to adapt appropriately
Â· Translate client requests, high-level value propositions, or highly customized service designs into standard, repeatable offerings
Â· Build strong working relationships across OptumHealth functional teams to assist in the successful design and launch of new offerings
Â· Demonstrate strong documentation and project leadership skills to successfully launch new service offerings
Â· Consult on best practices for taking new service offerings to market with successful outcomes for the business and clients
