Job OverviewThe New Business Coordinator will provide outstanding customer service and support when

processing new applications, ordering medical requirements as necessary and following up on those requests. In addition, this individual may assist with special assignments, as needed.

Responsibilities
Enter applications on Agency Works and Advisor HQ
Make sure producer is licensed with appropriate insurance company and if not, work to get necessary forms to get producer licensed
Order attending Physician statements and medical exams
Make sure application is in good order before forwarding to insurance company
Additional duties and responsibilities as required by management

Skills and Experience Needed
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
1-2 year related life insurance experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret insurance policies
Basic mathematical skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Superior demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to take initiative
Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Proven analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Willing to enhance education through training and industry education
Professional approach and appearance
