Responsibilities Ensure that customer requirements are met by conducting detailed thermal and structural analyses of new products. Tools include ANSYS, CFD and other thermal analysis tools Support engineering lab during qualification and acceptance tests of new designs Write test procedures as well as analytical reports Write customer proposals for new potential business Contribute to improving standard work practices
Requirements BS degree in mechanical engineering is required as well as 3-5 years mechanical engineering experience MSME Desired Understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamic and mechanics Experience with CFD and Finite Element Analysis tools (ANSYS, CFD, etc) Working knowledge of metal forming, joining and heat treating Excellent written and oral communication skills Aerospace product experience is a plus!!
