The Oracle Programmer Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Martin’s enterprise applications portfolio and will be a significant contributor to the growth of the business. The Programmer Analyst will support and enhance all modules within the Oracle E-Business Suite to meet the business requirements. The Oracle Programmer Analyst will be part of a team responsible for new application development and/or improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of the business. The specific assignments may include application design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing, maintenance and support.

Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Act as a liaise between business users and technical team members

Provide production support on day-to-day issues

Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change

Support and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systems

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in software programming or application development.

3+ years of experience in implementing and / or upgrading Oracle E-Business

Suite or R12 (R12 experience is preferred but not essential).

Significant experience with Oracle database 10g/11g and development tools like PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Application Framework (OAF) or Application Development Framework (ADF), BI / XML Publisher, Forms 10g /11g and Reports 10g/11g.

Significant experience in developing java based SOA applications.

Functional understanding of procure to pay process flow is desirable. Should be able to relate process flows to data model and structures.

Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis.

Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle; familiarly to scrum or Agile is desirable.

Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand.

Ability to build positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Informaiton Systems, or related field

Experience working in a consumer products manufacturing environment (specifically baking)

Experience working in a retail distribution environment (specifically Direct Store Delivery)

Experience in any of the following areas with any of the following products:

Experience with mobile applications development

Experience with multiple operating systems (UNIX / Linux / Windows) and scripting languages.

Knowledge and experience with development tools (jDeveloper, Toad.)

Knowledge of applications platforms (Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, MSSQL)

Experience working with database administrators to specify data structures that support flexibility and performance.
