As a growing company, Save-a-Lot is expanding our marketing team in order to keep up with our expanding demands. We are looking for some interns this summer to add to our team. Our interns will concentrate on certain aspects of our marketing, while being provided the opportunity to learn about all operations of the department, and work on projects that will affect the decisions we make for our multimillion dollar business.
Save-a-Lot is looking for more ways to engage our Hispanic customer base so our Multi-Cultural Marketing Intern will play and essential role in that. Our Multi-Cultural Marking Intern would be responsible for identifying relevant populations of Hispanic consumers/blogger and engaging them in Save-a-Lot. They will also be providing a competitive benchmark of competitors’ Hispanic marketing tactics and their effectiveness.
Responsibilities to achieve these objectives include:
-Identify the top Spanish/Bilingual social media bloggers and engage with them.
-Do a competitive review of the Spanish marketing efforts from Hispanic independent stores and mainstream stores, with particular focus on corporate website strategies to inform the inform the upcoming refresh of Savealot.com
- Sign up to our competitors social media/facebook sites and report on best practices.
- Work with our team in order to help develop the Hispanic marketing tool kit.
This paid summer internship has a negotiable start date. The internship will take place Monday-Friday in our Corporate Office in Earth City, Mo.
