Job Description
This position will help us achieve our top company goals by focusing on sales relationships between our sales districts and the customers in our market areas. You are responsible for handling the many different needs of the districts you support and the sales representatives. Expect to solve complex problems, trouble shoot daily transactions, and communicate clearly to the internal and external customers in a time sensitive and high pressure environment is critical. You will have accounts of your own in the market areas as well; managing pricing, increasing sales and margins is expected. A solid understanding of customer service and best business practices is expected. Having the ability and desires to work for many personalities is a must. Successful people may advance in the sales organization.

Duties and Responsibilities Dedicated support to a market area and the sales representatives, sales manager, customers Support company programs, spiffs, promotions Support company initiatives, increasing profitability through analytical processes, working with other departments Manage district sample processes, donations, and special order tracking Cover sales representatives duties during vacation, vendor meetings, and training Support any product recall that involves food safety Manage route profitability, increase efficiencies through effective communication and implementation of better processes designed by our organization Work as a liaison between the main office and our sales team At times contact customers to obtain their orders Respond to our customer hotline used by territory sales representatives and customers Be responsible for preparation of business review presentations, at times be present, or even be the presenter Pro-actively find areas to increase sales for the districts you support Handle weekly tasks for districts, including bid proposals to our customers Update information in our customer relationship management system Develop accounts that will be managed by you, be responsible for pricing, selling promotions, collecting payments, and increasing the account penetration of new items Support other team members as needed to help things go right At times will train new sales representatives for their development with our systems and company processes

Requirements Must be current with all company certifications within 3 months of hire Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task while under pressure Must be able to work under little supervision Demonstrate the ability to finish projects in a timely manner Demonstrate professionalism while working with all customers internal and external Must have 2+ years of customer service Must be proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Power Point, Excel), and be comfortable working with server based & web applications Must demonstrate emotional intelligence while working with others Must be willing to work any day of the week, including all holidays Become ServSafe certified within 3 months of hire Shifts will vary based on company needs.

Additional Foodservice experience a plus Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required Previous sales experience is a plus
