Job Description: We are looking for a Java Application Developer who has experience in building rich and user friendly web applications. This role requires the candidate to assist, and lead where necessary, in programming the front-end features and functionalities of new and existing web applications. Our team builds and supports both internal business tools as well as external customer facing mission critical applications. We follow the Agile development methodology and work within Scrum teams. We expect all members of our team to be strong team-players and set high performance standards for themselves and the team and produce high-quality output with little supervision.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) OR 7+ years experience with full application development lifecycle. Minimum of 7+ years experience with Java, J2EE technologies & Application Servers (preferably Weblogic). Minimum of 7+ years experience in working with Ext-JS, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and Ajax. Minimum of 7+ years experience with Java web application & services frameworks - JSF, Struts, Spring MVC, JAX-RS, JAX-WS Preferred Skills: 3+ years experience with Spring MVC, iBatis/myBatis, and Oracle PL/SQL highly desirable. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic Ability to translate functional requirements into detailed software design documentation. Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment. Test-infected attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing).
