Position Description

Support FAA programs in acquisition life cycle management, financial management support.

Plans, conducts, and coordinates with a diverse audience with the FAA's Technical Operations Services Line of Business. The candidate provides technical advice and consultation on new acquisition systems, software, facility or service through the Acquisition Management System (AMS) process. Applies program management and engineering principles such as:
  • Acquisition support and business case development
  • Enterprise Architecture modeling
  • Integrated logistics support
  • Concept Exploration (Prototyping, GUI emulation and Storyboarding)
  • Systems engineering
In addition, works with more experienced staff members in identifying and validating the appropriate actions to meet program requirements meeting contractual obligations. Prepare cost analyses and justifications for programming projects. Work is frequently reviewed for technical accuracy and compliance with established objectives.
