Responsible for leadership orientation, competency assessment and professional/personal development activities on a system and individual leader level. Oversees implementation of a comprehensive leadership development program that includes education, succession planning and mentoring activities for all levels of leadership and supports our organizational philosophy of servant leadership.
Master?s Degree preferred in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or health related field or equivalent experience.Certification as a trainer with Achieve Global or similar learning systems consulting company preferred; must obtain certification in such systems within 2 years of hire if not currently certified.Five or more years work experience in leading people and needs assessment processes, adult learning and training/teaching, inclusive of organizational learning and development. Work experience in a variety of health care settings preferred.Three or more years experience in a titled leadership role, preferably in an organizational setting that is values based and subscribes to a servant leadership model. High level of professional integrity, creativity, self-confidence and self-motivationAble to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of health care professionalsAble to function well independently and as a part of a teamExcellent planning and organizational skillsEffective negotiation/mediation skillsPresentation/teaching/training and facilitation skillsKnowledge of needs assessment/evaluation, interpersonal dynamics, group processing, instructional design and adult learning principlesKnowledge of servant leadership philosophy and characteristics as applied within organizational settingsAble to operate training/media equipment, presentation software, word processing and other computer programs essential to organizational communication (e-mail, electronic scheduling, etc.)
