Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:

The Assistant Director is responsible for the career advising needs of our recent graduates who are still seeking permanent employment. The successful candidate will work with each graduate to: provide proactive individualized career guidance; develop a career plan and strategy; and collect and maintain detailed employment data. He or she will also oversee the Entry into Practice (EIP) program, a fellowship program for new graduates to gain substantive legal experience while seeking permanent positions. The individual will also work as one of the counselors in the 3L "Bootcamp" Program, a program designed for last semester 3Ls who are seeking permanent positions upon graduation. Requirements: JD or Master's Degree in Education or Counseling required. Prior legal experience or prior counseling background and/or experience working with law students required. Excellent oral and written communications skills; demonstrated interpersonal skills; and team approach to problem solving. Strong attention to detail. An ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Significant knowledge of social media and web content preferred.
