Support IT products marketing and services to prospective customers generated from inbound and outbound sales communication for the federal sector. Resolve customers concerns regarding products and services.
Assist Account Team in meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas as set by the company. Meet departmental revenue productivity and quality objectives. Keep up-to-date on job related IT product knowledge. Assist outbound sales team, order processing and customer service to generate, support and resolve pre and post sales issues.
Essential Duties: \
Support outbound and inbound account managementpersonnel in assigned territory with a lead generation plan to meet/exceed monthly or annual targets Participating fully in training sessions, meetings,skill building and professional development classes Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leadsin order to start sales process Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization Supporting the reseller communication channelthroughout the sales interval Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targetsor forecasts, reporting on market situation Handling cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments Coordinating with customer service for status on ordersin ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met as well as resolvecustomer satisfaction issues Collating and consolidating report on monthly sales performance per sales personnel, per product, per region or office, andper industry Emphasizing service or product features and benefits,discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms Creating and delivering qualified chances to AccountsManagers where allowed Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) Remain informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers Responsible for processing orders, arranging deliverydates and other customer service related tasks Perform other related duties as assigned by sales management
3-5 years of federal sector sales experience Consultative selling approach experience, selling to DoD and Civilian Government, selling to Senior c-level Executives and Program Executive Offices (PEOs), streamlined Target Account Selling methodology IT Sales Discipline IT Product Infrastructure for Desktops, Mobile, Servers, Storage and High Performance Computing and Software EnterpriseSuites Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, ComputerScience, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or the equivalent in experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Successful track record of selling IT ProductInfrastructure and Services to the Federal (Defense/Homeland Security)Industrial Base, and Public Sector. Experience in strategic, technical, and businesscommunications application sales. Ability to perform consultative selling and leveragefederal sales cycle through superior delivery skills, client relations andsubject matter expertise. Strong communication skills and proficiency in sellingto the close to Program, Technical, and Executive personnel. Self-motivated, pro-active, results-orientedprofessional with an ability to work with minimum direction. Experience managing delivery orders and task orders onID/IQ, GWAC, GSA, BPA and MMAC contract vehicles. Leverage Contract Vehicles and Tier One OEMs such asDell, HP, Lenovo, and IBM to provide customer technology briefings and IT Infrastructure deployments to uncover new sales opportunities. Excellent writing skills including technical briefs, proposal submissions and client presentations.
