ReGeneration 180, a start-up non-profit organization, is promptly recruiting individuals for its founding Board of Directors. ReGeneration 180 is committed to the promotion of mental and physical health in children and adolescents, living in the under-served neighborhoods of Metropolitan DC area. Specifically, we aim to work with young people who may be suffering from binge eating disorder, depression and/or other mood disorders.
Due to a particular skill or interest you have, your presence on the board has been sought out by the founder/Executive Director of the organization. We are eager to share our strategic vision with you and discuss the specific ways through which you can benefit by becoming a member of the ReGeneration 180 Board. Now that the seed has been planted, we have identified a number of skills necessary to guide and support us as we grow. Our immediate concern is recruiting members that are interested in serving as officers, and those who posses background/understanding in ANY of the following:
o Business/Financial Management
o Previous Board Member experience
o Fundraising and grant writing
o Marketing
o Outreach and Volunteer recruitment
o Fitness/Nutrition
o Health/Medical
o Passion for: children, education, mental health, or nutrition
