Provide first line of technical support to the development team(s).
Perform migrations from one environment to another (Development to Test or Test to Production, etc.).
Working with other ITD organizations maintain the server and database software for development, testing and production environments.
Coordinate and apply patches/fixes.
Coordinate with the network and server administrators and the DBA(s) to ensure the health of the environment remains stable and operational.
Provide expertise in the required technology used for applications as defined in the SOW.
Perform server and administrator tasks including but not limited to:
Installation and configuration of COTS software applications
Installing and maintaining current versions of FOSS and GOTS tools
Troubleshooting system issues, including COTS configurations, security issues, account management, single sign-on, and network issues.
Creating or transferring user accounts, access privilege, data files and aliases;
Supporting operating system migration efforts;
Assist with database upgrades
Supporting customer moves and assisting in server/client issues.
Monitoring/performing backups to system resources;
