Run high throughput screening campaigns via an in house developed platform for functional assays. Maintain cells for these assays, prepare reagent stocks, buffers, DNA and other components to conduct assays. Perform molecular biology techniques to aid with the optimization of several assays. Comply with all radioactive usage protocols, waste and usage record keeping, safety and common-sense techniques. Collect, archive, and analyze data using MS Excel, Graphpad Prism, and internal databases. Report data to supervisor. Work in an independent capacity with minimal supervision day-to-day.
Education and Experience
Prefer candidates have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry with a particular research focus on G-protein-coupled receptor biochemistry and pharmacology. Strong data analysis and written communication skills with at least 5 years of postgraduate research experience in a 7TMR research laboratory.
