The Associate Team Leader (ATL) program is a 9-12 month leadership development program for newly promoted or hired Associate Team Leaders in the Manufacturing, Warehouse and Transportation divisions.

The program is designed to:
• Give a broad exposure to multiple areas of the business
• Build your Business/Technical Skills
• Enhance your Leadership Skills
• Prepare ATLs for the Team Leader Role
During the program you will be assigned a Dedicated Trainer who will coordinate your training activities and provide you coaching and feedback. Along with the Dedicated Trainer you will have hands on learning experiences, get exposure to multiple areas of the business, and attend leadership classes. Upon successful completion of the program, ATLs are promoted into a Team Leader role.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
· Demonstrates technical knowledge of leading a team as well as leadership skills to include coaching, training and developing Partners. · Under direct supervision and guidance, provides performance feedback to Partners and provides direct assistance in resolving Partner issues and concerns. · Fosters, promotes, and ensures compliance with safety requirements. · Ensures that area of responsibility is in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance. · Provides input on staffing levels & participates in sourcing and interviewing candidates
· Processes work injuries
· Participates in creation and execution of communication plan to share tactical and strategic plans and initiatives with Partners · Assists in the development of Partner staffing schedules to ensure business needs are met.
· Works with Partners to ensure understanding and commitment of daily business goals.
· Researches and responds to customer inquiries and makes necessary corrections.
· Develops an understanding of and monitors productivity and throughput against goals and takes appropriate action to meet goals.
· Monitors daily work volume and suggest appropriate balance of staffing levels and overtime.
· Regularly reviews and communicates results with team
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
· Bachelor's Degree OR 1 year related/comparable experience
· Multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required
· Takes initiative/results driven
· Positively influences others
· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
· Fundamental working knowledge and compliance: industry, EEOC and Employment Laws
· Basic skills in analysis and influence of people and process
· Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at a basic level
· Attendance and completion of company sponsored technical and leadership training and development classes
· Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays as needed
· Work extended/flexible hours-Work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Ambient temperatures range from -20F to 100+F depending on facility; most often they are 65-85F
· Open to relocating to another facility
