In this position, you are responsible for the account acquisition process from initial customer prospecting through contract signature. In order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives, this position requires, but is not limited to, cold calling, prospecting, proposal generation, pricing, and contract negotiations. After obtaining the contract signature, the Acquisition Sales Representative will transition the customer to an Implementation Support team for implementation. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement Business-to-Business plans for acquiring new accounts that will meet and/or exceed revenue growth expectations, account profitability, and customer satisfaction, via cold calling, prospecting, both on the phone and face-to-face, and a rigorous activity sales model
• Partner with customers via a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business
• Develop a complete understanding of the prospect’s organizational structure, buying influences, and key decision makers
• Schedule and conduct consultative sales appointments
• Make professional client presentations that articulate the value proposition of product/ solution/service offerings
• Provide superior customer service on a day-to-day basis
• Work with Sales Engineering to develop creative communication solutions based on a needs analysis
• Quote prices and prepare sales proposals/contracts for orders
• Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
• Acquire and leverage industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors
• Effectively communicate with sales leadership and provide suggestions for improving volume, market share, and price levels
• Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, and building new revenue by selling telecommunications products and services to medium-size businesses
• Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries
• Must be organized and maintain accurate records on daily activities and results

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

• 4 - 5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated, consistent record of success in an acquisition/hunter sales role
• Experience developing, researching, and presenting formal proposals to senior level management and other key stakeholders
• Aggressive follow-up and closing skills
• Proficiency with MS products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must have own transportation (car)
• A valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
