The Philanthropy Officer of Annual Giving will provide strategic management of the Annual Funds, its related volunteer advisory committee and specific donor events. The incumbent will be charged with growing the hospital’s Annual Fund and will be responsible for coordinating cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. The Officer will systematically plan for the personal solicitation of Annual Fund donors and upgrading of Annual Fund donors by increasing participation levels and leadership gift support for both annual and capital needs. As a member of the Department’s Management Team, the Officer will set fundraising goals, develop strategies, implement new programs and prepare associated reports. Familiarity with volunteer management and strategic planning for annual fun programs is desirable.

Bachelors degree with a minimum five years development experience required. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential. Minimum five years recent and verifiable professional annual fund experience with demonstrated personal success at personally soliciting gifts $10,000 and greater, from individuals. Strong volunteer management, written communication and organizational skills required. Familiarity with Blackbaud’s Raisers Edge a plus.
