Works independently as a director to plan, implement, direct, coordinate and evaluate the clinical functions of the Emergency Department. Collaborates with other management team members to develop and foster an effective clinical climate. Works jointly with administration, physicians and staff to develop the departments mission, vision, values, goals, long range plans, product lines, service, capital and operation budgets, policies and procedures.

Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing; Mid-level management experience in a hospital setting.

Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to delivery of patient care, leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts. Principles of nursing.
