PURPOSE OF POSITION

The E-Commerce Sales Manager is responsible for all e-commerce activities at the store level to ensure an outstanding experience for Park Place’s e-commerce clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Monitors iLead responses to ensure that both the quality and timing of the response meet Park Place standards

Coaches Internet Sales Consultants on providing outstanding e-mail responses to iLeads (includes using Internet Score Sheet to verify proper e-mail etiquette, punctuation, spelling, etc.)

Monitors Inbound Phone Calls to ensure the quality of the response and that the call is properly documented in CRM

Coaches Internet Sales Consultants on proper phone techniques for incoming sales calls (includes completing Sales Call Score Sheet and listening to sales calls with members)

Ensures proper utilization of CRM by monitoring task completion, Prospect Rating updates, etc. on a daily basis

Works with Internet Business Development Manager to provide reporting of lead response times, lead response quality, closing percentage, etc. to the GSM, Sales Managers and General Manager on a monthly basis

Monitors the Inventory Health Report found on eCarList to ensure vehicles are properly merchandised on Park Place website

Monitors leads for quality assurance and returns bad/duplicate leads to Dealix for credit

Monitors database of e-mail templates in CRM – communicating with Corporate Sales Trainer and Director of Marketing any additional templates or changes which may be needed

Creates and executes strategy for increasing e-commerce market share through operational planning and development/completion of action plans

Works with Director of Marketing, Corporate Sales Trainer and Internet Business Development Manager to identify new technologies and processes to improve e-commerce experience

Assists Human Resources in the hiring process for Internet Sales Consultants

Serves as liaison with Social Media Manager to provide dealership-specific content for use on Park Place social media channels

Helps monitor and maintain dealership’s DealerRater page, notifying Corporate Sales Trainer if members need to be added or deleted

Helps monitor and maintain dealership’s eCarList and Call Measurement sites, alerting Internet Business Development Manager when members need to be added or deleted

Provides Marketing Analyst with information on manufacturer’s lease/finance specials on a monthly basis

Maintains professional relationships with manufacturers and maintains personal manufacturer certification

Attends dealership and department meetings as appropriate

Knows and understands the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adheres to the requirements

Knows and understands the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and uses the program to achieve client satisfaction

A.) in Sales & Marketing from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License) Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable), Sales License where required.
