LeMay's, a Waste Connections, Inc. company has an immediate opening for a Local Truck Driver at our Tacoma, WA operation. In this position you will be responsible for driving an automated side load truck. You will drive standing up on the right side of the truck using a joy stick to control the mechanical arm to collect recycled materials then transport to the proper facility.
This is a union position with union pay scale and benefits. Monday-Friday 6 a.m to 4:30 pm. Typical work week is 50 hours.
Te be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years of CDL driving experience, a great attitude, and a perfect driving record. We will not start interviewing until Jan of 2013. Starting pay is $15.17 an hour for the first 692 hours , then $16.07 for the next 692 hours, and $16.96 for the next 692 hours then $18.35 when an opening opens up in the garbage routes you will move to those routes and their pay scale that starts at $18.35.
