TheSales ProjectManager will report to the Director of Customer Retention and will design, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of various Customer Retention campaigns for the subsidiaries of Torchmark Corporation. These campaigns will aim to retain existing policyholders utilizing various channels of communication, such as direct mail, email, text messaging, and call center operations. The Sale Project Manager will also have the opportunity to recruit, lead and mentor additional staff as our conservation operation continues to expand.

Primary duties & responsibilities consist of:
Collaborate with Senior Management regarding retention strategies and continuously monitor and modify these strategies as needed to meet retention goals for all Torchmark companies

Build, train, and manage staff to ensure all department goals are met

Monitor and build upon the current reporting system to monitor customer retention data, including persistency trends, agent retention, add-on response, as well as any other ad hoc reporting requested by Senior Management

Complete cost/benefit analysis, expense projections, and conservation projections

Assist with the development of a sales-based training course/development program for new and existing conservation representatives

Use data-driven analysis to make recommendations and optimize both retention and upsell campaigns

Ensure test projects and policy changes instituted by the department perform as expected, while identifying and eliminating the causes of any adverse trends

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
A proven track record of designing, developing, and managing projects and/or marketing campaigns

Excellent and effective communication skills

An ability to effectively develop and manage processes, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of data mining tools and techniques

Computer proficiency in MS Office

Results-oriented

Ability to set clear expectations and provide direction to direct reports

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is required

Minimum 3 years of experience in management

1-2 years of inside sales experience preferred

Life insurance or financial industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
Heavy PC and phone usage

Fast-paced environment

Hours:
Monday- Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Overtime as needed
