Responsible for providing comprehensive product line support. Provide product planning and administration for sustaining and new product development, line extensions, derivatives and enhancements. Plan, provide and administer nomenclature/product structure maintenance, lead-times, pricing, forecasting, finished goods inventory, marketing collateral, engineering/tech support/post sales support, sales/financial/competitive analysis and market research. Responsible for direct supervision of the product support staff and Leadership Program trainee as well as drive ABS/KPI initiatives through the department.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive product line support and serve as a subject matter expert to both internal and external customers.
Facilitate product line administration; including pricing, validation and support of all marketing operation functions. Administer forecast, planning bills, and lead-time assignment and provide finished goods inventory leadership and analysis for all products.
Maintain LLWEB and Lithonia.com for our product line and make changes in a timely manner to support internal and external customers.
Maintain and create all marketing collateral (spec sheets, instruction sheets, technical and promotional items) for our products.
Conduct market and competitive research as it relates to our product and use that information to help determine product line gaps, pricing and distribution of product.
Analyze sales data and apply to product development, sustainment and forecasting.
Responsible for phase-in/phase-out projects and providing manufacturing facility support. Key member of PDS team and responsible for action items pertaining to product launches and enhancements.
Provide and participate in presentations at the JHMLC.
- 6 to 8 years plus the education listed below.
- Extensive product knowledge; ability to learn and maintain technical product information. Working understanding of Lithonia and ABS processes as well as manufacturing processes. Team leader - ability to lead a team and manage projects to completion. Verbal and written communication skills for a broad audience. Ability to retrieve and analyze data and make conclusive recommendations. Proficient in MS Office and Acuity applications.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Marketing
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., efficiently identify and handle objects, and stand for extended periods of time.
