The Regional Business Unit Design Manager is a key member of the NA Female Beauty Team. The RBU Design Manager will serve as the FIRST ever Designer to collaborate with with our NA Female Beauty Businesses, categories & customer teams to bring agility and breakthrough designs and promotions to our top customers. This In-house Design Position will be responsible to converting shopper insights into action via world-class, equity based in-store design solutions - Creating inspiring and forward thinking shopper-focused designs. Close collaboration across internal Brand Franchise Organizations, Regional Business Units , and Market Development Organization counterparts is imperative for success. As a part of our small but dedicated design team, you will truly be able to make a significant impact.
As part of the multifunctional team the work includes: design research, consumer/shopper insights, design concepts and visualizations. You will execute promotional design strategies for out top brands and top customers. The role requires close collaboration with other Design Managers and multifunctional partners and drive passion for design with business partners. This role will work closely with the global design manager on North America projects to define overall look, tone, and feel, as well as executing promotional packaging visions and will have key roles to play in defining and deploying regional design strategies, mostly aimed at our specialty portfolio

MUST HAVE BS or BA in Design with 1-2 yrs experience and a portfolio that demonstrates design expertise (strategy and execution)
Operates with discipline/project management. Exceptional leadership skills and ability to lead multiple initiatives with excellence.
Leverages design as a business practice. Must be able to integrate design into the business by applying design tools, principles and strategies.
Collaboration: Must demonstrate ability to collaborate on a multi-functional level. Must be able to inspire external design talent.
Engages the senses: Must be able to transform strategic intent using the 5 senses with a passion for Design and the Beauty Category that sparks creativity and innovation in the design team.
