The Related Services Support Processor (Processor) supports the delivery, servicing, and marketing of crop (Multi-Peril Crop Insurance), crop hail, and life insurance (credit and term) products to current and prospective Association customers. This position will work with the Related Services Sales Consultant(s) to service all aspects of customer related services relationships; both internal and external. The Processor may provide first-level customer service on related services of the Association. Working with the Related Services Sales Consultant(s), the Processor will gather appropriate information from the customer, transmit the information to the appropriate party or insurance company, and meet the customer’s servicing needs. Support of the Related Services Sales Consultant(s) may also include the delivery and servicing of insurance policies telephonically, electronically, or as otherwise requested by the Related Services Sales Consultant.
This position will provide direct support to the Association’s efforts in meeting annual insurance sales goals by assisting the Related Services Sales Consultant(s) in the creation of new client sales and supporting existing customer insurance needs. The position will enhance the quality of agricultural insurance program by assisting and supporting technical aspects of crop insurance processing and assisting in the preparation of tracking reports to management. In addition, the position will support additional related services products the Association may offer including credit life insurance, equipment leases, or any other products approved by management.
This position requires a high school diploma and related administrative experience in an insurance environment or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Crop Insurance (Multi-Peril Crop Insurance), Crop Hail Insurance, Livestock and Life Insurance (Credit and Term) is required. Strong customer service skills and effective team skills are essential.
Demonstrated organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to utilize office machines, computer technology and a wide variety of software, including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Strong attention to details, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, time management and organizational skills.
The incumbent should have a working knowledge of farm operations, the agriculture industry, crop and life insurance activities, and accounting principles and practices.
In addition to technical knowledge, independent judgment is required in organizing workload to meet servicing deadlines, and marketing goals. Furthermore, the Related Services Support Processor strives to provide high levels of customer service and product delivery.
Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8‑hour day.
