As a member of the Vendor Licensing team the Vendor Licensing Specialist serves as a resource for the vendor reseller Sales and Product Management. The Vendor Licensing Specialist must be aware of all vendor licensing programs and engage with all pertinent teams to grow profitable sales and market share of the vendor that he/she represents.
Two years of college course work preferred. Previous work experience required. One year sales/customer service. 6 months prior Ingram Micro experience preferred. Effective telephone techniques and customer care. Basic understanding of profitability components. Basic technical and product knowledge. Basic understanding of Ingram Micro programs and services. Basic proficiency in systems (i.e. Impulse). Ability to effectively perform sales functions in a high volume call center environment. Strong oral and written communications. Strong organization and time management. Manages issues effectively. Resourceful. Works well on own. Ability to multi-task respond to rapid change; organize prioritize and perform work with detailed supervision.
