We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Patient Experience Project Manager position that will be based in our Patient Experience department. This position is based at our corporate office in Altamonte Springs, FL.
This position has the opportunity to be responsible for overseeing patient experience technical and functional projects, ongoing quality assurance of the patient experience survey process for all service lines, and providing technical expertise related to patient experience reporting.
Specific job duties include:
Responsible for ensuring that Adventist Health System complies with all CMS governmental regulations related to patient experience reporting, and takes a highly visible role managing efforts with the survey vendor, AHS-IS and FHS-IS.
Leads projects to implement new survey tools, coordinating efforts with hospitals, medical practices, other AHS departments and vendors, requiring solid project management, organization and communication skills.
Handles customer support questions, manages the Patient Experience ARC site used system-wide and oversees all monthly reporting for the system.
This multi-faceted role also participates in patient experience best practice initiatives and occasional site visits, requiring knowledge of functional best practices and critical thinking related to how to best influence the field in process improvement.
3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Applications Analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Technical knowledge of the complete survey process for both the hospital and medical practice areas, from uploading of data to the vendor, to surveying, to reporting of results required.
Process improvement abilities are strongly preferred -Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts, as well as knowledge of structured process improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Sound experience in managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, influencing others to complete action steps in a timely and effective manner.
Experience in customer support and end user knowledge transfer.
Four-year college degree in information systems, business administration or related field.
MBA or MHA.
Press Ganey Software Tools.
ARC Infrastructure and Design.
Survey Administration Software.
SQL Database Knowledge.
Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nextgen (Medical Practice system).
Project management/organizational skills, technical skills and competencies, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change are a must.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interface with various customer, technical, and leadership audiences, adapting to their preferred style.
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve effectively. Takes ownership and drives own agenda with minimal supervision.
