Job Description:

  • TTEK) has an immediate opening in our Phoenix, AZ
office for a highly motivated senior- level
geologist/hydrogeologist. Tetra Tech GEO offers a

The ideal candidate for this position possesses the

following:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Hydrogeology,
Geology, Geological Sciences (geophysics, geochemistry,
earth science, or soil science);
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Professional certification(s) - Arizona Registered
Geologist (RG);
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Experience in business development, project team
development, proposal preparation; and client
management; and
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER trained with current 8 hour annual
refresher.

Responsibilities:Skills Requirements:
Excellent technical writing skills, strong computer
skills, strong communication skills, excellent
relationship with clients, experience with business
development and proposal preparation, and current in
40-hour HAZWOPER training. Experience with database
management, GIS and/or groundwater flow and transport
modeling are pluses.

Education:
Advanced degree in Hydrology, Geology, or related field
with Arizona RG registration, and minimum of 15+ years
experience in the environmental and water resources
consulting fields.
Responsibilities will include project and task
management, preparing technical reports, development and
oversight of field sampling and field procedures,
supervision of soil and groundwater investigations and
characterization, water supply development, scope
development, cost estimates, feasibility studies,
assistance in remediation design, aquifer testing and
analysis, business development and preparation of
proposals, personnel supervision, and assistance in
staff development/mentoring in technical areas.

Experience Requirements:
Fifteen (15) or more years of previous experience in the
environmental, engineering, and water resource
consulting field. 40-hour OSHA certification; some prior
background in GIS and AutoCAD are pluses.
