US Payroll Senior Business Analyst
The US Payroll Program Office (USPPO) is responsible for managing all aspects of U.S. payroll delivery and compliance including regular payroll, variable pay programs, foreign assignment payroll, and payroll tax for Intel's 50,000+ US employees. This role's primary responsibilities are:
-Provide PeopleSoft systems support for US Payroll including: Error resolution/problem solving, table updates and configuration.
-Lead PeopleSoft payroll systems testing for tax updates, patches, upgrades, and new functionality.
-Lead and drive US and Global Payroll systems related projects and initiatives.
-Partner with internal organizations such as Compensation and Benefits, Shared Service Center, Regional Account Managers, Global Tax and Trade, IT, and Other HR Functions to influence payroll services design and delivery.
-Perform business and data analysis in order to make recommendations to management, drive business process improvement, and solve problems.
-Assist Regional/Global Payroll Program Office staff in delivering timely and accurate payroll payments to our employees (may require some support of keep-the-business-running processes, systems, tools, and suppliers...as needed)
-Conduct internal and external research and benchmarking on industry practices as needed.
-Support and work on business partner initiatives that impact payroll.
-Assist other program offices with project management work as needed.
Experience with PeopleSoft North American payroll version 9.1. Specifically, North American Payroll Functionality including retro-pay, alternate OT, error resolution and problem solving, table maintenance/configuration.
-Project management experience. The ideal candidate will have experience leading medium to large sized projects, including developing and managing project plans using standard project management methodologies (PLC, LSS, etc...). PMP certification is a plus, but not required. An emphasis on systems related projects, specifically PeopleSoft 9.1 is highly recommended.
-Business analysis experience. Strong data analysis and with proven problem solving experience
-Strong verbal and written communication
-Stakeholder management/influencing skills are a must.
-Team motivated. Works well and collaborates with others, is someone that will bust bureaucracy, enabling work to get done quickly and effectively.
