Assist in implementation of regional training compliance calendar and records. Coordinate submittal of routine PM06 safety regulatory permits. Supports the implementation of PSM-based safety to include employee engagement, MOC program, and pre-startup safety reviews. Assist field operation in waste disposal and recordkeeping. Assist field operation with basic agency inspections and internal audits. Conduct routine HSE training through face-to-face meetings and conference calls. Assist in implementation of facility emergency response plans for all terminate sites along with annual drills. Implement new HSE regulations and policies within region following supervisory instructions. Enter and maintain HSE key performance indicator data and prepare monthly reports. Ensure field HSE compliance and recordkeeping. Support field operations in all HSE-related issues including health monitoring, VPP Certification, and auditing. Assist in Safety and Environmental compliance evaluations
May perform the following duties:

Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans, systems, and procedures necessary to ensure the overall safety and health of employees and the community. Review and update the Regional Emergency Response Plan by location. Integrate and develop emergency response plans for new facilities associated with mergers and acquisitions. Perform other HSE duties as directed to ensure HSE compliance.

Bachelor’s degree required for job progression. Engineering or environmental degree and CSP preferred. Safety and health knowledge/experience required. 1--3 years of directly related professional experience. Pipeline, terminal, and/or refinery experience preferred. Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting terminal operations. Must have knowledge of Emergency Response Plans, RCRA Waste, Wastewater, Storm Water, Air, and Safety regulations. Proven relationships with field operations, company peers, and contractors. Strong ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong skills using MS Suite products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. College level mathematics a plus.
